Yao Zuoping, male, born in 1964, serves as Party Committee Secretary and Vice President of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. He has been honored with multiple awards including the National May 1st Labor Medal, National Model Worker, Top Ten Outstanding Youths of Guangxi, and "Outstanding Figure in China's Automotive Industry Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up." He graduated from the Automotive Engineering Department of Wuhan Institute of Technology (now Wuhan University of Technology) with a bachelor's degree in 1985, and obtained a master's degree in Economics in 2000 and a Ph.D. in Management in 2006, both from Wuhan University of Technology.
